Hearing God

In the church of Christ, we are invited to learn to hear God’s voice and strengthen, encourage and comfort one another. This course for local churches aims to help you grow in this.

With this course, you will embark on a journey of exploration in six sessions. What does it mean to become more and more like Jesus? Can we truly hear God’s voice? In what ways does God speak? How can we discern what is of God? And how can we share God’s words with each other in a loving way, without manipulating each other?

Topics of the six sessions:
1. Becoming Like Jesus: Intimacy with the Father
2. Becoming more like Jesus: working together with the Father
3. Recognising God’s voice: ways through which God speaks
4. Hearing God: How to discern?
5. A loving community: handle with care
6. Growing in intimacy and a mindful life
